A documentary is in the pipeline from British broadcaster BBC, following United Kingdom Eurovision Song Contest hopeful Jade Ewen from the beginning of her journey to her live performance in front of millions.

Jade's Story will showcase the young singer's journey, from her victory in the show Your Country Needs You to her Eurovision adventures in Moscow. Viewers will be able to see close-hand behind-the-scenes footage showing how the media whirlwind picked up after Jade's win in a frenzy of interviews, TV appearances, stylist and recording sessions. Highlights will include Jade's whistle-stop promotional tour of Europe, which saw her performing at the Maltese national final just days after her UK success.

Words of advice
The programme will also feature former UK winners Lulu and Katrina along with vocal coach Arlene Phillips, who are on hand to offer some words of advice – and warning! – to Jade in the run-up to May 16th. Presented by Your Country Needs You host and UK commentator Graham Norton, the documentary should be a fascinating close-up of the media machine and preparations behind a Eurovision Song Contest entry, and the personal story of a young singer at the centre of it all.

The date and time of the show, to be aired on BBC1, are yet to be confirmed. In the meantime, viewers will be able to find out whether Jade's Story has a happy ending by watching the grand final on May 16th.
