SVT have today announced that four time Melodifestivalen entrant on tv host Shirley Clamp will team up with Edward af Sillen as co-commentators for SVT's coverage of the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest.
Shirley, who competed this year in the first Melodifestivalen semi final in Gothenburg after a four year absence from the show will fly to Moscow as part of the SVT delegation. Earlier this year, she released a new album including the long awaited English versions of her previous Melodifestivalen hits Att Alska Dig (Miracle) and Min Karlek (My lovelight).
Edward af Sillen is a stage director and has worked with Melodifestivalen, writing some of the scripts for this year. He has been involved with the Swedish competition and has also managed the SchlagerPride event that takes place as part of the Stockholm Pride celebrations. The event has attracted Eurovision fans from all over the world and become one of the big events on the Eurovision calendar.
