NTU, the Ukrainian national broadcaster aired the 2nd part of Battle of the City last night showcasing the latest news and developments on the 2017 Eurovision host city race.

A 25 minute long programme was aired last night on NTU Channel 1 where we got to see a glimpse of the EBU’s mini tour to Kyiv, Odessa and Dnipro, an interview with Mr. Jon Ola Sand (EBU) and with Mr. Yevhen Nyshchuk (Ukrainian Culture Minister).

The EBU, NTU and the Eurovision 2017 Committee visited the 3 finalist cities vying to host next year’s ESC edition: Dnipro, Odessa and Kyiv. They inspected the cities’s respective proposals, venues and infrastructure.

Timur Miroshnichenko, NTU’s tv host got a chance to have a tête à tête with Mr. Jon Ola Sand and find out about more details about the 2017 ESC host city race. Timur asked Mr. Jon Ola Sand about his opinion on the 3 potential candidate cities.

NTU and EBU are expected to announce the name of the 2017 DEurovision host city in the coming days.

The preliminary dates for the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest in Ukraine have been set on 9, 11 and 13 May.
