Last night, the winner of the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest, Jamala, performed her winning competition entry at the Grand Final of country’s annual talent show, The Voice Ukraine.

Last night saw the final competitors along with their mentors, including Ukraine’s 2006 Eurovision representative Tina Karol, compete for a final time on the stage in the sixth season of The Voice Ukraine (Holos Krainy).

In the lead up to the announcement of the final results, this year’s Ukrainian representative at the Eurovision Song Contest, Jamala, took to the stage for the first time since her Eurovision victory where she sang her winning contest entry 1944 to the audience and viewing public live, receiving a standing ovation at the end of her stunning performance.

Following her live performance, it was announced onstage that Jamala would in fact be a coach in the seventh season of Holos Krainy, going on to state:

Today I was worried more so than in Stockholm! […] Holos Krainy – a show which in the future will give birth to new music and new voices. I invite all the casting of the seventh season of the project.
