Sasha Son, Lithuanian representative at 2009 Eurovision Song Contest, has presented the Russian version of his song for Moscow. But Sasha Son doesn't reveal yet in which language (or languages) the song will be performed in May.
For today we have three versions of Lithuanian Eurovision song – the Lithuanian version Pasiklydes zmogus (Lost man), the English version Love and the Russian version Odinoky geroi (Lonely hero). It has been confirmed by Sasha Son that we will definitely hear the English lyrics in Moscow, but he doesn't reveal if the entire song will be performed in English.
"We all know that this year Eurovision Song Contest takes place in Moscow, so that is why Sasha Son has recorded a Russian version of his song. I believe that not all Russians understand English, so this will help them to get to know what about is Sasha singing. Also, the song will be played in more than 300 radio stations all over Russia!", says Sasha Son's manager Martynas Tyla.
This week Sasha Son has entered the top three of the Lithuanian charts with Pasiklydes zmogus. Back in 2007 when Lithuania was represented by 4Fun, and in 2008 when Jeronimas Milius flew Lithuanian flag to Belgrade, theLithuanian Eurovision songs haven't even entered the Top 40.
