ERR, the Estonian national broadcaster has confirmed its participation at the forthcoming 2017 Eurovision Song Contest scheduled to be held in Ukraine next year.

Estonia will yet again opt for a national selection in order to select its 2017 Eurovision hopeful. The 2017 Estonian national final Eesti Laul is scheduled to be held on 4 March at the Saku Suurhall (Eurovision 2002 venue) in Tallinn. Tickets for the show have already gone on sale.

In 2016 Juri Pootsmann flew the Estonian flag in Stockholm with his entry Play. Despite an extraordinary performance he failed to qualify for the grand final.

The preliminary dates for the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest have been set on 16, 18 and 20 May.
