Eurovision 2016 official event schedule published!

The official event schedule of the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 is now published, with full information about each day’s rehearsals, press conferences and extra activities.

The schedule is useful for the those who will attend the events in Stockholm as well as for the fans and followers at home, in order to know when its a country’s time to shine on the stage during rehearsals or in the press room during press conferences and meet and greets.

The overall outline of the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 week is as follows:

2 May: First rehearsals – Semifinal 1, Half 1

  • 10:00-17:10 – Rehearsals of the first nine entries in Semifinal 1 (Finland to Russia), 30 mins each
  • 12:10-19:15 – Press Meet & Greet of the first nine entries in Semifinal 1 (Finland to Russia), 20 minutes each

3 May: First rehearsals – Semifinal 1, Half 2 + Sweden

  • 10:00-17:10 – Rehearsals of the last nine entries in Semifinal 1 (Czech Republic to Malta), 30 mins each
  • 17:20:17:50 – Rehearsal of Sweden, 30 mins
  • 12:10-19:15 – Press Meet & Greet of the last nine entries in Semifinal 1 (Czech Republic to Malta), 20 minutes each
  • 19:40-20:00 – Meet & Greet of Sweden, 30 mins

4 May: First rehearsals – Semifinal 2, Half 1

  • 10:00-17:50 – Rehearsals of the first ten entries in Semifinal 2 (Latvia to Australia), 30 mins each
  • 12:10-20:00 – Press Meet & Greet of the first ten entries in Semifinal 2 (Latvia to Australia), 20 minutes each

5 May: First rehearsals – Semifinal 2, Half 2

  • 10:00-17:50 – Rehearsals of the last eight entries in Semifinal 2 (Slovenia to Belgium), 30 mins each
  • 12:10-20:00 – Press Meet & Greet of the flast eight entries in Semifinal 2 (Slovenia to Belgium), 20 minutes each

6 May: Second rehearsals – Semifinal 1 + First rehearsals Big 5

  • 9:00-17:45 – Rehearsals of all participants in Semifinal 1, 20 mins each
  • 18:55-20:05 – Rehearsals of France and Spain, 30 mins each
  • 10:05-18:50 – Press Conferences of all participants in Semifinal 1, 20 mins each
  • 20:35-22:05 – Meet & Greet of France and Spain, 20 mins each

7 May: Second rehearsals – Semifinal 2 + First rehearsals Big 5

  • 9:50-11:40 – Rehearsals of Germany, Italy and United Kingdom, 30 mins each
  • 12:00-13:40 – Meet & Greet of Germany, Italy and United Kingdom, 20 mins each
  • 12:45-13:05 – Rehearsals of all participants in Semifinal 2, 20 mins each
  • 13:50-22:25 – Press Conferences of all participants in Semifinal 2, 20 mins each

8 May: Second rehearsals Big 5 + Sweden

  • 11:45-12:15 – Host Press Conference
  • 12:30-15:15 – Second rehearsals Big 5 + Sweden, 20 mins each
  • 13:35-16:20 – Press conferences Big 5 + Sweden, 20 minutes each
  • Evening: Red Carpet Event at City Hall & Euroclub

9 May: Semifinal 1: Dress Rehearsals

  • 17:00-19:05 – Semifinal 1, Dress Rehearsal 1
  • 21:00-23:05 – Semifinal 1, Jury Show (Dress Rehearsal 2)

10 May: Semifinal 1

  • 15:00-17:00 – Semifinal 1, Family Show (Dress Rehearsal 3)
  • 21:00-23:05 – Eurovision Song Contest 2016: Semifinal 1
  • 23:30-00:10 – Press Conference of the ten finalists

11 May: Semifinal 2: Dress Rehearsals

  • 17:00-19:05 – Semifinal 2, Dress Rehearsal 1
  • 21:00-23:05 – Semifinal 2, Jury Show (Dress Rehearsal 2)

12 May: Semifinal 2

  • 15:00-17:00 – Semifinal 2, Family Show (Dress Rehearsal 3)

  • 23:30-00:10 – Press Conference of the ten finalists

13 May: Grand Final: Dress Rehearsals + Press Conferences Big 5+Sweden

  • 14:30-17:30 – Grand Final, Dress Reheasal 1
  • 16:40-18:35 – Press Conferences Big 5 + Sweden, 20 mins each
  • 18:40-19:00 – Press Conference: Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2016
  • 21:00-00:30 – Grand Final, Jury Show (Dress Rehearsal 2)

14 May: Grand Final

  • 13:00-16:30 – Grand Final, Family Show (Dress Rehearsal 3)
  • 21:00-00:30 – Eurovision Song Contest 2016: Grand Final
  • TBA: Winner’s Press Conference
