Soraya, this year's Spanish representative, participated yesterday afternoon at the radio programme Bienvenido a casa, aired on Radio 1 (RNE), and also revealed some details about her plans for Moscow on her Facebook page. Amongst other items, Soraya announced that she will be touring Europe with the aim of promoting her entry La noche es para mi. The singer has set her eyes on Greece and Turkey, as she will be releasing a CD in the Hellenic country and will develop a musical project with Hadise.

Soraya also announced on her Facebook page her participation at two important pre-Eurovision events: UK Eurovision Preview Party in London on April 17th and the Eurovision Promo Concert in Amsterdam, the day after. Greece will be a very important stage on her tour as well, as the singer stated that La noche es para mí is becoming a hit in that country, and declared her intention of releasing a CD there. Dates regarding the start of her promo tour as well as its stages are yet to be announced.

Her performance in Moscow was another talked about topic during the interview on Radio 1. Soraya explained that she will appear on stage accompanied by two female backing vocalists and three male dancers.

Soraya, while she was on air, received the phone call of the president of her natal Spanish region, Extremadura, Mr. Guillermo Fernández Vara. The politician assured that his fellow citizens feel proud of the singer: "Soraya has a great voice and is a very talented singer. She is a wonderful representative of the Extremaduran people".

Spain will participate at the final of the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest and will have the right to vote at the first semifinal. As a big-4 country, Spain is automatically qualified.
