As the second day of rehearsals are underway in Malmo, Sweden, clips of the last eight competiting songs are now available to listen to online. Two more songs will qualify for the final at Globen on March 14th tomorrow night, two more will go to the second chance round to be held next week, and the international jury will make their choice as to which song they think would do best for Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest. The Malo semifinal will feature one song in Norwegian, one partially in French and one with a chorus in Spanish as well.
Agnes makes her Melodifestivalen debut whilst Maria Haukass Storeng jets straight into the competition after hosting Norway's Melodi Grand Prix, just a year after taking Norway to fifth place at the Eurovision Song Contest. She joins Anna Sahlene, who took Estonia to joint third place in 2002, and has since participated at Melodifestivalen twice.
Sarah Dawn Finer returns to the competition looking to go directly back to Globen, whilst Thorleifs, one of Sweden's big dancebands enter for the first time with a schlager classic.
