TVE the Spanish national broadcaster has been very busy preparing next Saturday's Eurovision 2009, El Retornon marathon show. As we announced earlier, Spain will be holding its third semifinal and the grand final next Saturday. All the participating candidates have been busy rehearsing and putting the final touches to their wardrobes, costumes and choreographies, both finalists and semi finalists.
Santa Fe, Mirela, El secreto de Álex, Julia Bermejo, Biquini, Dulce, Isi, Beatriz, Remembrances and Solydowill be competing in the third semifinal in order to qualify for the grand final. Soraya, Melody, Virginia, Jorge Gonzalez, La La Love You, Noelia Cano have already secured a place in the national final, while Salva Ortega and Gran Baobab will have to go through a second chance eliminatory.
All is set for Saturday's grand show which is scheduled to kick off at 22:30 CET on TVE 1 live and TVE International Europe (via satellite). All the performers have been working hard rehearsing and working on their choreographies and staging. Alaska and Miguel Serrano will be the hosts of the Spanish Eurovision national final which will be held at theTeatro-Casino L’Aliança de Poble Nouin Barcelona.
As a 'big four' country, Spain is directly qualified for the final of the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest on 16th May.
