The last one of the two ballads in the Norwegian national final Melodi Grand Prix 2003 is now online. Åse Karin Hjelen has a marvellous voice and is the main attraction in Han kom som ein vind, one of only two entries with Norwegian lyrics.
It would be expected that an uptempo tune will win the Norwegian national final this Saturday, but in the case a ballad should win, this is most likely to be I'm not afraid to move on by Jostein Hasselgård. Still, Han kom som ein vind is not bad at all, except maybe a little boring.
Tomorrow's artist featured by NRK will be what is expected to be the grand favourite of the night; the dance act Soda with Fool in love, said to have “qualities on an international level”.
