Bruno Berberes, the Head of the French Eurovision Song Contest delegation and this year becomes the first head of an international jury in Sweden's Melodifestivalen 2009, has spoken to esctoday.com about securing Patricia Kaas for France and his role for Sweden.

During the interview which can only be described as typically Bruno, he discusses the importance of attracting a star name for France and how it was made possible. He also explains the coup in the contest of the Eurovision Song Contest.

He goes on to talk about his role in Melodifestivalen and why the international jury has been brought in to the competition this year. They will vote on the songs in each semi final looking to ensure that they find a song that will stand up at the Eurovision Song Contest from an international view point.
