Armenian broadcaster ARMTV has revealed details of its artist postcard to be shown at the Eurovision Song Contest this coming May.

The short, postcard-style film will be broadcast to millions of Eurovision-viewers across the world in the moments immediately before Iveta Mukuchyan’s live performance of the song LoveWave.

It will feature shots of some of Armenia’s most beautiful places, as well as shots of Armenia’s famous and much-loved apricot trees. The postcard will also show Iveta in a white pinny and baker’s hat making Lavash, a typical Armenian bread. But she is also seen looking glamorous with flowers in her hair and spending time with horses.

I’m really looking forward to seeing the postcard in May, Iveta said. I think you’re going to love it.

If, however, you cannot wait that long, you could check out ARMTV’s Eurovision diary and have a look through the photos from the postcard shoot below.

Iveta Mukuchyan will compete in the first semi-final of this year’s Eurovision Song Contest on 10 May. She has big boots to fill. Armenia has qualified to the grand final for the last three years, with each entry placing comfortably within the top ten.
