Today, Monetegrin broadcaster RTCG has announced that the country will be represented by Andrea Demirovic at the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow. With Just get out of my life, she will not only be the first female soloist representing Montenegro but also the first entrant with a song in English. The song has already been published and can be downloaded from the broadcaster's official website.
Andrea Demirovic, born in 1985, had her musical breakthrough when shetook part inthe Suncane Skale music festival in 2002. She has already taken part in the national final of Serbia & Montenegro in 2005 fnishing 5th with Šta ce mi dani and in the 2008 Montenigrin artist selection coming in second place. She has released two albums so far. The lead single of her 2008 release was a cover version of the songLa reina de la nochefrom the 2007 Spanish national final.

Montenegro will take part as an independant country for the third time. Previously, Stevan Faddy finished 22nd in the 2007 semi final not making it to the final just like Stefan Filipovic last year, who finished 14th in the first semi final Zauvijek volim te.
