Boris Novkovic, Croatia's 2005 representative at the Eurovision Song Contest, has pulled the song he had written for Dora 2009 out of the competition, stating that he has not being able to find a suitable performer for the song.

When national broadcaster HRT received the information that Boris’s song Raduje se would no longer be taking part in the semi-final of the country’s national pre-selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, Boris stated that the reason was that he was not satisfied with the performance of the singers, although he refused to name them.

Opera singer Sandra Bagaric will take Boris’s song’s place in the semi-final with the song Kao jedno, written by Ingo Privor and Drazena Scholz.
