Tonight, Belarus will be the fourth country to kick off its televised selection for the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow with the semi final of EuroFest being held. 15 acts will compete for one of the five places in the national final.

The show
The show will start at 20:50 CET (21:50 local time) and it will be hosted by Denis Kurian. 15 acts will present one song each before a jury is going to select five entries to move forward to the national final, which will be held in January.

Ruslan Alekhno represented Belarus in Belgrade and finished 17th in the second semi final with Hasta la vista thus not reaching the final. The country has only made it to the final once so far in 2007, when Koldun reached 6th place overall.
