Some interesting statistics have been released for the Latvian National Final Eirodziesma 2003 which was broadcast online for the first time on 1st Februrary.
Data released by LTV reveals that 22,595 visitors watched the online broadcast of the show on the website eirovzija.lv. It ia also reported that the site had over 4 million hits on the day of the final.
Latvian Television (LTV) had broadcast a time delayed webstream of the even last year, though a meagre 600 viewers, 37 times less than the number this year, took advantage of the broadcast.
Between 3rd February and 9th February, a total of 30,934 visitors watched a recording of the Latvian National Final.
Most of the guests visiting the website during the online broadcast and the week after the national final were from Latvia, Estonia, Spain, Finland, the United Kingdom, USA as well as Argentina, Brazil and other countries.
