The ninth act to be announced as a participant in Melodifestivalen 2009 will be revealed tomorrow morning (Wednesday 19th November) live in television. Christer Björkman, competition producer will be joined by Jennifer Brown and Måns Zelmerlöw on Good Morning Sweden to reveal the ninth act confirmed for the competition.

This year, SVT have shaken up their method of revealing the Melodifestivalen artists. The first acts were revealed earlier today. In the past, the 28 acts performing the jury selected songs have been announced before the four wildcard entries.

This year, things are changing. The first of the four wildcard entries will be revealed tomorrow morning live on Swedish television at 08.15 local time. Måns Zelmerlöw and Jennifer Brown, who were confirmed as competitors earlier today will join Christer Björkman to discuss their entries and why they are joining the race to represent Sweden at the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow.

In addition to the news, UKeurovision Schlager Party today confirmed that they will provide a tribute section at the next party in London on Friday 28th November. They will be playing songs by each of the confirmed artists. Tickets for the Winter Schlager Party at The Enclave in London are available now from the official event website at www.schlagerparty.co.uk. Tickets cost £10 or £7 with a loyalty card and can be booked online.
