The viewer ratings of the Latvian national final Eirodziesma 2003 have increased in average with 8% compared to the previous year.

525,000 people, in average, which corresponds to 50% of all LTV (Latvian Television) viewers, have watched the live broadcast of the Latvian National Final Eirodziesma 2003 on February 1.
The interesting fact is that about 460,000 viewers (44%) have watched the first part of the show, but the number increased up to 561,000 viewers or 54% of the average audience in the second part. The show attracted up to 907,600 viewers in total.
408,700 viewers (46% of the audience) watched Eirodziesma 2002.
It was possible to follow the live broadcast of the show on the web for the first time in the history of the Latvian National Final. The members of Eurovision Song Contest Internet Group informed that the interest was enormous. The exact rating will be known soon.
