As London prepares for the West End launch of it's latest musical, Eurovision Song Contest fans will be looking forward to catching a glipse of some of the past acts that brought glory for the UK. The country's last two winning acts will be present on the opening night of Eurobeat The Musical. Four members of Bucks Fizz over the years will be in attendance along with Katrina Leskanisch, the country's last winner. Former representatives Scooch, Frances Ruffelle and Nicky French will also be in attendance for the opening night.

After weeks of shuddering with anticipation, the Eurobeat company has landed in London and moved its lycra, sequins and mirror balls into the glamorous Novello Theatre today. Outside, the theatre has been transformed into the model of Bosnian glamour with life-sized photographs of every country's representative adorning the walls, capped off by a magnificent picture of Boyka, resplendent as a turnip gazing down over the West End. Inside it is a madhouse, but the company is polishing itself furiously in order to give ourselves and the audience the happy ending that is so richly deserved.

The show has confirmed a run of ten weeks at the Novello Theatre on Aldwych in London, and that will be extended depending on tickets sales. Fans can book tickets through the official website at www.eurobeatthemusical.com.
