Turkish newspaper backs German finalist

Yet another newspaper agreed to support an entrant of the German national final Countdown Grand Prix, bringing the number of media partnerships in this event up to five. This time, the Turkish newspaper Hürriyet picked band Tagträumer as their protégé.

Hürriyet is the biggest-selling newspaper in Turkey and leading paper for turkish immigrants in Germany. They agreed to back German band Tagträumer and their song 'Living in a perfect World', which will be sung in English, German and Turkish, the last part provided by turkish-born female singer Aynur. Hürriyet called this song a “moving call for humanity and peace”.
