Mando participated in the 2003 Eurovision Song Contest for Greece with Never let you go and placed 17th. Five years later she returns with a brand new album and an entirely different look and sound.

Mando II is the artist's twelfth album to date, the title symbolising a new beginning after a long break she took after Eurovision. The album contains twelve tracks, among them three by Pegasos, six by Mando herself and two by popular Danish producer Deekay. The song Breathe again is reported to have been submitted to the Greek broadcaster for this year's local preselection for the Eurovision Song Contest. The album has already received favourable critics in Greece and enjoys quite a lot of airplay.

The official presentation of the album will take place this Wednesday at the Club Bocca in Voula, Athens.

Thanks to Johnny Logan and Hold me now I fell in love with the Eurovision Song Contest, a love that's been going strong ever since with undiminished passion. My first memories date back to 1977 and the lyrics of Rock bottom, Dschinghis Khan and A ba ni bi are still engraved in my brain. I joined esctoday.com in 2006 as a junior editor after being invited by Barry Viniker, I soon became Senior Editor and during the 2007 contest in Helsinki I was appointed Head of Communications. Today I hold the post of Head of Human Resources and I am proud to be working with the best editorial team in the world.
