Six million Greeks watched last night the big final of the 53rd Eurovision Song Contest as ERT, the Greek broadcaster, revealed today at the press conference that took place in Belgrade
Today, the Greek delegation held its first press conference after the final. Kalomira has spoken about her experience and her agony during the televoting. Mr. Kalimeris, ERT's manager, revealed that six million Greeks watched the big final with 93% ratings. Mr. Kalimeris has also joked about what the other 7% doing during the big final.
The Greek delegation arrived today in Athens where a big welcome party was set for the winner , Kalomira, and the two creators of "secret combination" Konstantinos pantzis, who wrote the music, and Poseidonas Giannopoulos, who wrote the lyrics, and for all the delegation.
Kalomira revealed to all the media present to the welcome ceremony, that she feels very tired but releafed about the results, and the only thing she wants to do right now is go home and get rest.
The Greek song has also came first in the first semifinal and that made the Greek delegation feel like winners. The TV ratings actually prove that the only thing that can keep the Greeks in home in a saturday night is only the Eurovision especially after 2001 when Antique came 3rd and since then all Greeks have become addicted to this contest.
