An ecstatic Dima Bilan greeted the journalists and fans in the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest winner's press conference. Together with Edwin Marton, Evgeny Pluschenko and his team Dima spoke about his feelings, his plans, he gave tips to future participants and sang Believe in Spanish.

Dima was asked first about his plans for the future and he spoke about his new albums in Spanish and English. Dima decided to speak in Russian as he wanted to be able to say everything he felt. He thanked the composer Jim Beans as well as Timbaland's production team and dedicated the award to them. He also thanked Edwing Marton, who put his "melting heart" in the show.

Dima was asked what he had to advise other previous participants in the case they wanted to take part again and win the contest. "To tell the truth, I believed in victory. You have to do your best and go forward, no matter if evil forces come close to you, never give up." Then, just like the three Musketeers, the entire team chanted in unison "All for one and one for all".

The next question was directed to Evgeny Pluschenko, the Olympic skater whose contribution to Dima's victory was unquestionable. He was asked if he was going to participate again in the contest as a singer: "This victory belongs to all of us and I am not going to share with anybody. In the future I do not have any plans to sing as I am a skater and this is what I plan to do"

How do you feel to have beaten all the women favourites, Dima was asked yet. "Women are my favourite humans" he laughed " I think all men will understand now". I have very mixed emotions, I don't understand my emotions now because I am happy", he said and started crying, laughing and thanking his colleagues. Following a request by a Spanish journalist to say something in Spanish, Dima sang the Spanish version of his song for the journalists.

The net question was directed to the violinist of the trio, Edwin Marton "We know that all instruments in Eurovision are played back in track. Did you feel uncomfortable having to pretend you were playing the violin?" Edwin assured everyone that he was indeed playing live, it was just not transmitted to the microphone.

Thanks to Johnny Logan and Hold me now I fell in love with the Eurovision Song Contest, a love that's been going strong ever since with undiminished passion. My first memories date back to 1977 and the lyrics of Rock bottom, Dschinghis Khan and A ba ni bi are still engraved in my brain. I joined esctoday.com in 2006 as a junior editor after being invited by Barry Viniker, I soon became Senior Editor and during the 2007 contest in Helsinki I was appointed Head of Communications. Today I hold the post of Head of Human Resources and I am proud to be working with the best editorial team in the world.
