UK: James Fox to return to UK charts

James Fox, the United Kingdom's representative at the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest is heading for a return to the UK top 40 charts, half a decade after his last hit.

Five years after his Eurovision entry for the UK reached number 13 in the UK charts, James Fox will return to the UK Top 20 chats with his new song Bluebirds flying high. The song is currently is in the top 15 of the unofficial UK midweek charts.

This will be the first time that a UK entrants have charted again under their own name after doing Eurovision for eight years. The last act to have a post-Eurovision Song Contest hit was Precious back in 1999.

James song Bluebirds flying high is a song dedicated to Welsh football time Cardiff City's success in reaching the FA Cup final.

Since appearing in the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest, James has developed a successful career in musical theatre with appearances in the UK as Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar and has been touring the USA as the leading role in the Billy Joel's musical Movin' Out over the past three years.
