A few days ago, in Belgium, a CD compilation was released with most of Emly Starr's hits, as well as a DVD with videos and a whole Eurovision part.
Love is elastic – the title of the compilation (and the opening track) – has 18 tracks including Samson, her 1981 Eurovision entry, in its two versions, Flemish and English. Emly's musical career began in 1978, with No no sheriff and ended with Jump in the dark, in 1986. Still, the lady – now aged 51 – has done a lot of other things meanwhile.
A short biography can be found on her personal website hereas well as a lot of details on the Eurovision experience.Along with the CD, eurofans will enjoy a bonus-DVD : 9 clips and a 10-minutes Eurovision special, with parts of Belgian preselection and reports in Dublin, where the entrant only reached number 13.
