All of you who are coming to Belgrade this May to attend the 53rd Eurovision Song Contest need to start packing soon, because it is so close now. And all of you who have never been to Belgrade in May, do not panic! esctoday is here, ready to bring you some tips before you make your “what to pack” list.
According to the Republic Hydrometeorological Service of Serbia, the weather conditions will be changing all the time during the next 30 days. Sun and rain, the temperature will be going down and up. They predict that the lowest temperature will be on May 17th, min. 7, and max. 17 degrees. The warmest day will be May 12th with min. temperature 13 degrees, and the max. temperature 24 degrees. Also, the forecast says that we can expect rain on the next dates: May 9th, 10th, 14th, 15th, 19th, 21st, 22nd, 24th and 25th and windy weather on: May 14th and 24th.
But, since it is May, it is the most likely that raining periods will be short, and sunny and shiny ones will be dominant, we recommend you to bring sunglasses and summer clothes with just one or two light jackets for nights and do not care about the rain too much, cause there is an expression Serbian people say during the rain: "You are not sugar tomelt in therain." 🙂
For you who intend to walk by the rivers, we recommend to choose the right shoes for it, since the river banks in Belgrade are kilometers long.
This May you may need cream with UV protection, since UV forecast for May says UV factor range will be from 3 to 7.
Finally, if you forget something, you can always buy it in Belgrade. There are several big shopping malls and hundreds of small shops. Prices may vary. You can find the same thing at very different prices in two different shops. Anyhow, one thing you do not forget – your smile!
