Last year's Cypriot representative in the Eurovision Song Contest, Evridiki, will be performing the official song of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest which will take place in the Spyros Kyprianou stadium in Limassol this winter.

Evridiki, accompanied by Dimitris Korgialas, partner in life and on stage, will be performing the official Junior Eurovision Song Contest song during the opening of the next contest in Cyprus. More of this year's contributors have also be announced. The show will be choreographed by Fotis Nikolaou, who also worked for the 2004 Olympics opening and closing ceremonnies in Athens. The costumes for the opening and the postcards will be designed by scenogrpher and designer Lakis Genethlis, and the postcards themselves will be directed, in high definition, by Korina Avramidou and produced by Despo Karpi. German Prokon, who are currently working with RTS for the next Eurovision Song Contest, will be lighting the stage.
