Along with Ortal, Yann Charpentier, Miguel Linde and Mayte were OGAE France guests on the 20th April meeting. Yann, Miguel and Mayte took part in the 2008 Spanish preselection with Eternamente, sung by Mayte. Unfortunately, they did not make it to the national final, for the song reached the 6th place out of about 550 entries.
During the discussion the three of them held with the French fans, they admited to that they were really disppointed with the final result of the Spanish national final and Rodolfo Chikilicuatre’s victory. According to Miguel, a weird atmosphere reigned over the competition, as if everything had already been determined. from the start.Nonetheless, they declared that they are willing to try their luck once again…but maybe not in Spain !
Miguel Linde had already taken partin Misión Eurovisión, the 2007 Spanish national final, as the songwriter of Tu voz se apagará , which reached 3rd place.At present, Yann and Miguel are closely working with Jonatan Cerrada, 2004 French representative, and both have many plans all around Europe. Last but not least, they are working with Mayte on new songs. For the Eurovision Song Contest ? Maybe… Miguel and Mayte’s jury gave 12 points to Switzerland while Yann’s gave 12 to Armenia.
