Nanne Gronvall, the Swedish melodifestivalen favourite and former Eurovision Song Contest entrant as the lead vocalist with the group One more time will be the third special guest performer at the UK Eurovision Preview Party on Friday.
Nanne is one of Sweden's most popular performing artists and has been a mainstay in the charts and on the theatre stage for twenty years. She took third place at the 1996 Eurovision Song Contest with One more time performing the song Den vilda. She also won the televote in the 2005 Swedish national final, only to finish second due to the jury vote.
Nanne attempted to represent the United Kingdom in 2001, reaching the Song For Europe final with the song Men. She is returning to the United Kingdom to perform as special guest at the UK Eurovision Preview Party this Friday, 25th April at Scala in London.
The swedish star was forced to take a break from her career in 2006 after being diagnosed with breast cancer. Feisty and determined as ever, she beat the illness and returned to the stage and to Melodifestivalen in 2007 with Jag måste kyssa dig . esctoday.com readers awarded her with the title of 'Past Participant of the year' in the 2007 esctoday.com awards. Now she joins Bucks Fizz and Paul Oscar as the special guests at the UK Eurovision Preview Party.
