The No Angels, German representatives in the upcoming 2008 Eurovision Song Contest are currently heavily rehearsing their stage performance for Belgrade. Furthermore, the outfits they are going to wear have been chosen.
The rehearsals are underway in Munich and will go on until the group has to leave for Belgrade, especially as they "feel some pressure having been drawn very early in the running order". Singer Lucy Diakovskarevealed details concerning the outfits they are going to wear on stage: "In innocent white, transparent and glittering we also want to win over the audience with our outfits". She also adds that every single step of the performance is planned particularly.
Traditionally, the performances of the German entries in the Eurovision Song Contest and the outifts are identical or almost identical to the ones in the national final and therefore, major changes in the stageperformance are indeed a surprise. It has not been revealed if the wind machines from the national final will be included again.
As a 'big four' country, Germany is directly qualified for the final of the Eurovision Song Contest on 24th May, where the No Angels will perform their song Disappear at number four. In 2007, thecountry finished 19th with Frauen regieren die Welt performed by Roger Cicero.
