RTS, the Serbian broadcaster, host of the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest will be holding a Press Conference on Monday 21 April where details of will be discussed. A call for volunteers has been launched in Serbia for the one thousand volunteers needed in May during the contest weeks.

During the Press Conference on Monday 21 April, Eurovision 2008 art director Boris Miljkovic, set designer Goran Joksimovic (no relation to Zeljko) and Marija Gligorijevic, Accreditations Manager will give out information on the creative concept of this year's contest, its visual identity and stage design as well as press accreditations and the volunteer program. A spokesperson of OGAE Serbia will also be in the panel to provide information about the progress in the organisation of this year's Euroclub and Eurocafe.

The RTS call for volunteers was launched earlier this week. Around 1.000 volunteers will be required to fill the various posts during the two weeks of the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest. Volunteers are needed to welcome and escort national delegations throughout their stay, as well as provide transport and security for them. Also volunteers will be manning the numerous Information Kiosks around the city of Belgrade offering guidance and assistance to incoming tourists. All applicants must have a sound knowledge of foreign languages and have a clear idea in which sector they would like to work.
