Although 16 January is the day the list of participants will officially be announced by broadcaster NOS, several artists already made their participation in the Dutch preselections of the Nationaal Songfestival 2003 public.
The Beanuts, consisting of Sally (ex “Close 2 You” member) and Joey (ex “Al of Us” member), will perform Give it up! in the second preselection on 8 February. The song is written and composed by Ed van Otterdijk.
Suzanne van der Velde will also perform Over the moon in the second preselection. The song is written and composed by John o'Hare, who also wrote the Dutch entry for 2000 No Goodbyes and Luca Genta, the writer of the Finnish entry that same year A little bit.
A-Teaze will perform Don’t cry in the last preselection at 22 February, the same programme in which Kathy Bloom will perform I’m on fire (pictured).
