Maria Haukaas Storeng, representing Norway at the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest will travel to London to perform in the biggest pre-Eurovision party of the year. She has confirmed that she will be attending the UK Eurovision Preview Party on Friday 25th April at La Scala in London.

It's been a good week for Maria. shewon the first semi final preview at London's monthly 'Douze Points' event last week, and over the weekend, picked up her first 12 points of the year in the OGAE jury votes, hitting top spot with the fans in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Now her management company has confirmed that she will be travelling to London next week to attend the biggest Eurovision Song Contest party the city has ever seen.

She already at the top of the charts in Norway with her Eurovision Song Contest entry, Hold on be strong and will now visit London as a special promotion opportunity. She will be taking a night out from promoting her new album in Norway to attend the event alongside Ani Lorak (Ukraine), Isis Gee (Poland), Euroband (Iceland), Laka (Bosnia – Herzegovina) and Nico & Vlad (Romania).

Maria will be performing her entry and a special new song from her upcoming album at the party, to be held at London's famous La Scala venue.
