Jelena Tomasevic will have the honour of representing this year's Eurovision Song Contest host nation Serbia with her song Oro. The Serbian entry has been composed by Zeljko Joksimovic who represented Serbia and Montenegro at the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest with his song Lane Moje achieving a 2nd place. Zeljko was also behind the 2006 Bosnian Eurovision entry Lejla which was performed by Hari Mata Hari in Athens. Jelena has recorded several versions of her 2008 Eurovision entry ORO in various languages, ie: Greek, Spanish and Portuguese. Versions in English and Russian are expected to be recorded too. The Portuguese version of Oro has been been released.
Jelena Tomasevic has recorded a Portuguese version of her Eurovision 2008 entry Oro titled Minha Dor. The lyrics of the Minha Dor have been written by Vasco Pereira Da Camara, who is well known for belonging to a family whose members are well connected,musically speaking, tofado. The Portuguese version of Oro is about the loss of a loved one.
