One month and a half before the Eurovision week arrives, the Spanish broadcaster RTVE is full steam ahead to Belgrade. The latest step is the revamp of their Eurovision website Salvemos Eurovisión. The new version of the site gathers blogs, news, a forum, trivia games and even a video karaoke.
The previous version of the RTVE's Eurovision website contained a few videoclips of the Spanish entry Baila el chiki chiki subtitled into various languages to make it understandable for the majority of viewers outside Spain. Now, the site features a larger offer with much more services.
For instance, there are two blogs available to read online. One of them is Mauro Canut's Guayominí du puá, already existing before the Spanish national final, and Rodolfo Chikilicuatre's Camino a Belgrado, where the Spanish representative every day writes about his feelings a month and a half before his performance on the Belgrade stage.
A news section on the 2008 Spanish participation, gathering pieces of news from several Spanish media, has also been granted room in the new website. More features have been added, such as a forum where you can send a message to Rodolfo Chikilicuatre or give your opinion about other national representatives or former participants; trivia games about Eurovision, a calendar of important events or a video karaoke to name a few. This latter feature allows you to record yourself in a video piece singing an Eurovision song and send it to the RTVE Eurovision website. Visitors will be able to check your singing skills and vote for you.
