In less than two hours, the Andra Chansen round of Melodifestivalen 2016 will kick off in Sweden. Out of eight entries from the previous semifinals, four will get a place in next week’s final.

The rehearsals for the Andra Chansen took place earlier this week and feature slight changes to the performances in order to be more attractive and appealing to the audience who votes. Check out snippets from all eight rehearsals:

However, not all change requests were approved. Samir & Viktor wanted to add confetti to their performance, but their request was turned down as their competitors Dolly Style are already using confetti and because confetti won’t go well with the water they have on stage during the performance.

Daniel Norberg, who is known for his Melodifestivalen parodies, which are the most watched YouTube videos in Sweden annually, has decided to show us tonight’s show from his perspective:

FINAL RUNNING ORDER TO BE ANNOUNCED LIVE

As SVT would like to make things more exciting, the running order of the Melodifestivalen final will be announced live on stage by Christer Björkman, right after the results will be announced. “We hope that the public will like it this way and will be more excited towards the final”, says Edward af Sillén, the director of the show.

Sweden will pick its Eurovision entry next Saturday as the grand final of Melodifestivalen 2016 will take place in the Friends Arena in Solna.
