Son de Sol, the Andalusian trio that represented Spain at the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest in Kiev with the song Brujería have released their latest single Veneno (venom/poison). Veneno will be released as the first single of their forthcoming album Directo a ti which will be released in Spain this month. Sole, Espe and Lola are back on the musical scene after a 2 year break.

Son de Sol are three sisters that hail from the Southern Andalusian city of Écija near Seville. They shot to fame back in 2005 when they won the golden ticket to represent Spain at the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest at the Spanish Eurovision national final with their song Brujería. A Turkish version of Brujería was releasedin Turkey by famous Turkish artistSerdarOrtac and a special version was made for the Latin American market by Daniel Castillo. The girls have also recorded a remix version in English which was released in the re-edition of their last album.

Son de Sol's latest single Veneno has been composed by Alfredo Panebianco, the same man behind their Eurovision entry Brujería.Their latest single is a flameco influenced pop song and so is their latest album which contains tracks varying from flamenco pop to rumba influenced tunes.
