Sirusho, the twenty year old singer who will be representing Armenia in the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest, has just returned to Yerevan from Georgia, the first stop of her promo tour. Soon she will be leaving for Moscow where she will attend and perform at the 3rd Annual Armenian Music Awards. Two new remixes of Qele qele are already available to listen online through the composer's official website.

The 3rd Annual Armenian Music Awards ceremony will take place on 6th April, at the Kremlin Concert Hall in Moscow. The show will feature many Armenian as well as Russian stars and it will be hosted by Tania Gevorgyan from MTV Russia, Lera from MUZTV and vice-Miss Europe Lusine Tovmassian. Andre (2006), Hayko (2007) and Sirusho have all been nominated in the Best artist of the year category. Sirusho herself will be present to perform this year's Armenian Eurovision entry Qele, qele. It is customary for the Russian representative in the contest to be present at the show, but this has not been confirmed for Dima Bilan yet. The ceremony will be broadcast live by ARMTV in more than 86 countries around the world.

The promo CD of this year's Armenian entry is now at the final stages of production. Two brand new versions of Qele, qele, the Yerevan club mix and the Radio Remix Edit will be included in the CD alongside the Eurovision version of the song. Both remixes are available to listen to through the composer's official site:

Zaven Shegrikyan reporting for esctoday.com from Yerevan.

Thanks to Johnny Logan and Hold me now I fell in love with the Eurovision Song Contest, a love that's been going strong ever since with undiminished passion. My first memories date back to 1977 and the lyrics of Rock bottom, Dschinghis Khan and A ba ni bi are still engraved in my brain. I joined esctoday.com in 2006 as a junior editor after being invited by Barry Viniker, I soon became Senior Editor and during the 2007 contest in Helsinki I was appointed Head of Communications. Today I hold the post of Head of Human Resources and I am proud to be working with the best editorial team in the world.
