Sandhja has won UMK 2016 and will represent Finland at the Eurovision Song Contest.
After a month of competition, the final of YLE’s Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu came to a close tonight.
Nine acts made tonights final with the chance to represent Finland at the Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm awaiting the winner.
After the vote was counted, Sandhja topped the voting and will represent the country with their entry Sing it away.
Mikael Saari and Saara Aalto finished as runner-ups.
Sandjha will now head to Stockholm in May for the contest, where she will perform in the first half of the first semi-final.

Despite a lot of buzz around the band in Vienna, they placed last in their semi-final.
Their entry Aina mun pitää picked up 13 points in the semi-final.
