Morena, Malta's representative in the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest, will be wearing a dress designed by Ernest Camilleri on stage in Belgrade. He is no stranger to the Eurovision Song Contest as in 2002, he has already designed the outfit for Ira Losco.

Ira Losco's slitted white outfit in which she represented Malta in 2002 with 7th wonder was a lucky one: she finished second, the island's best placing until then. Another Camilleri dress could be seen in the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest: the one worn by Mireille Bonello, who announced the Maltese points.

Morena is very happy about the designer: "Ernest will be designing my dress for the performance and hope he will bring me the same luck he brought Ira Losco in 2002! I'm very happy with the outcome, and think the puzzle is falling into place brilliantly."

Morena will take part in the second semi final of the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest on 22nd May with the song Vodka. After a last place in Athens and a 25th place in the 2007 semi final, the island hopes to go back to the top like in 2002 and 2005, when the country finished second.
