esctoday.com can exclusively reveal that Capital Radio, London's leading commercial radio station is backing Ani Lorak, Ukraine's Eurovision Song Contest representative to win the 2008 competition in Belgrade.
esctoday.com spoke to Capital Radio this afternoon and were told that after listening through all the songs, Shady Lady is their pick for the competition in Belgrade. Capital 95.8 is one of the largest commercial radio stations in the world, and they have upped their interest in the Eurovision Song Contest significantly in the last two years.
They interviewed Michelle Gayle and The Revelations in the run up to Eurovision – Your Decision, the United Kingdom's national final earlier this month, and they will be featuring the Eurovision Song Contest over the coming weeks.
