The three girls of the Dutch group Ebonique, who ended up second in the Dutch Nationaal Songfestival 2001 with So much love, will participate again in the Dutch preselections. The song they will perform is said to be written by two male Maltese songwriters!
Another participant in the Dutch preselection will be Arwin Kluft, who imitated Andrea Bocelli in the Dutch edition of the Soundmix Show. His song is named Turridu, which seems to be a song (partly) in Italian. Two boys from the boyband BED also submitted a song.
In the meantime, it appeared that broadcaster NOS already decided the running order for the four preselections. Although the order of participation is not public yet, we learned that Sonny's Inc and the band Blauwdruk (blueprint) with Hotel het hart perform in the first preselection at February 1st. Arwin Kluft and Jeffrey participate in the third preselection, just like the Soullisticks with We can't stop the music. The group Boulevard and Bert Heerink, performer of Blue skies are for free, will participate in the fourth preselection, just as the two former members of BED.
