Miodio are Nicola Della Valle (vocals), Francesco Sancisi (keyboards, programming), Polly (bass guitar, programming), Paolo Macina (guitar) and Alessandro Gobbi (drums). The Miodio project was born in 2002 and their first album came in 2006. It contained five tracks and was produced by Acanto label by the well-known composer and producer Andrea Felli. In 2007 they signed an exclusive contract with Opera Prima, the label of the Roberto Fiachinni, son and manager of Renato Zero, the Italian mega star. Their single It's OK, is still in the playlists of national radio stations in Italy.
The band claim they represent "a new way of thinking, born by anger and the will to react that each individual carries in their ego". They have extensive live concert experience as they have performed as a support group at Renato Zero's MpZero Tour 2007 and have supported Matia Bazar. They have also won the 17th San Marino Festival as well as the Viva Music Award and Most Original Song Award of the Bologna 2006 Festival delle Arti. Miodio represented San Marino in the 12 Biennale in Napoli.
