After four quarter finals and two semi finals, the final of Eurosong 2008, Belgium's selection for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest, was held tonight and by televoting it was decided that Ishtar will go to Belgrade with the song O julissi na jalini, performed in an imaginary language. The song was written by Michel Vangheluwe.
The results in the final:

- Paranoiacs – Shout it out
- Brahim – What I like about you
- Nelson – When I can't find love
Last year the Walloon broadcaster submittedthe entry LovePower which was performed by the KMG's and finished 26th in the semi finalgetting 14 points- 12 of them from debuting country Georgia. The last time an entry by the Flemish broadcaster reached the top 10 was back in 1977! In 2008, Belgium will take part in the first semi final of the Eurovision Song Contest on 20th May.
