Everything is set for tonight's Spanish Eurovision national final Salvemos Eurovisión. RTVE the Spanish national broadcaster has been working very hard and putting great effort in coming up with a spectacular show that will be aired live on TVE1 and TVE International Europe at 22.30 CET. The show has received massive mediatic coverage and publicity thanks to the modern and innovative approach by the Spanish natioanal broadcaster, in their method of song selection. TVE and Myspace joined forces last January inviting artists from all over Spain to upload their entries along with an introduction video online, in their quest to represent Spain at the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest.
A press conference was held yesterday in Estudios Buñuel, Madrid, where the Spanish press and media got a chance to meet the 10 competing candidates along with Raffaella Carra, the Italian host. Raffaella Carrà has enjoyed both fame and popularity on the Spanish entertainment scene and is a well loved artist in Spain. She will be conducting the show tonight and will be also hosting at least 2 more Eurovision related shows on TVE this season. She dropped a hint that a special Eurovision show on the best Eurovision songs and Eurovision winning entries was in the making. She will be also hosting a special pre Eurovision show on the 24th of May on TVE.
All the 10 competing acts have been working hard on their choreography, costumes and song presentation for tonight's show. It sure has been very hectic and busy at TVE'S Estudios Bunuel where preparations and rehearsels have been taking place for tonight's Salvemos Eurovisión show.
TVE will be showcasing a grand stylish show tonight pampering Spanish viewers with the best of music, entertainment and humour. Salvemos Eurovisión kicks off at 22.30 CET on TVE1 and TVE International Europe ( via satellite) promising a very entertaining and exciting evening.
