The 2008 edition of Sweden's Melodifestival, the national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, will continue tonight with the second chance round being held. The third and fourth placed acts from the four semi finals will compete for the final two tickets to the national finals.
The show
The show start at 20:00 CET and will be held at the Arctica Arena in Kiruna. The eight acts have been split intofour pairs – one act of each pair will enter the second round of voting, where the winner of the first pair and the winner of the second pair will compete against each other for one ticket to Stockholm, the same happens with the winners of the third and fourth pair of course. The winners are chosen by televoting only.

The Ark finished 18th for Sweden in Helsinki with The worrying kind. In 2008, Sweden will take part in the second semi final of the Eurovision Song Contest on 22nd May.
