Today, RTS have published the latest info regarding the host country�s delayed national selection Beovizija. The festival will take place in the Sava Center, Belgrade and it will include one semi final on Sunday 9th March and the final show the night after. The webcast will be available on RTS site as well as on eurovision.tv. A host of guest stars from Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Montenegro, Slovenia, FYR Macedonia and Poland will also be performing as interval acts in Beovizija this year.
Thesemi finalof Beovizija Sunday 9th March will include 20 entries, ten of which will compete in the final show on Monday. The finalist will be chosen by both jury and the televote (50% each) like last year. During the interval act annual awards will be presented and the special life time achievement award to the first Beovizija winner , Tose Proeski. who died tragically in a car accident last year.
On the final night, Monday 10th March, ten acts will compete to representative of Serbia on home ground at the Eurovision Song Contest. Many of this year’s participantswill perform during the interval act including Kraljevi Ulice & 75 cents from Croatia, Laka from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Isis Gee from Poland, Stevan Filipovic from Montenegro, Tamara, Vrcak and Adrien from FYR Macedonia and Rebeka Dremelj from Slovenia.
