Azerbaijan's representatives at the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest have decided to call a halt to their touring to get back to working on their presentation for their upcoming performance in Belgrade. After appearances in Greece and Latvia, they headed to Ukraine to keep working on their song and shoot their promotional video.

After the Latvian final, Elnur and Samir were special guests at the Azeri embassy in Latvia. They then flew to Kiev where Elnur celebrated his 21st birthday on March 3rd. With little time for celebrations, he said:

“We have to work harder. Now I think it’s clear what should be changed in our performance, voices, show and dresses. As for me this’s the right time to stop our trips and get down to work. We want to work several weeks in the studio and enhance some stuff. Moreover we plan to make a video for our song. Kiev will be the right place for this video”.

On 2nd of March, a day after a special guest appearance at the Latvian national final, Elnur and Samir flew to Kiev, Ukraine to implement the experience gained from their performances in Europe into studio work, preparing the final version of Day after day that will be presented at the Eurovision Song Contest.
