Dutch broadcaster Avrotros has confirmed to ESCToday that the 2016 Dutch Eurovision entry will premiered by late February/early March.

Douwe Bob, the 2016 Dutch Eurovision representative was interviewed earlier today on Dutch Radio station Radio 100% NL.   During the interview the Dutch hopeful revealed that he is currently working hard on his potential Eurovision entry which he plans to premiere on March 2. He performed during the Goeiemorgen Lex morning radio show today.

Douwe Bob was selected via an internal selection by Avrotros in order to fly the Dutch flag at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm next May.

The 2016 Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to be held on 10, 12 and 14 May at the Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm, Sweden.

The Netherlands is one of the founder members of the Eurovision Song Contest, having debuted in  the very first contest in 1956 in Lugano. The country has won the competition 4 times (1957,1959 1969, 1975) and has hosted the competition 4 times (1958, 1970, 1976, 1980).
